KEYHOLDING SERVICE The service incorporates residential and commercial properties. This 24 hour facility ensures that fully trained staff will immediately respond to alarm activations and where necessary, liaise with alarm companies and police. All keys are held in a maximum security, purpose built key store which is fully alarmed and constantly supervised within the Control Room. The issue and return of keys is strictly monitored in accordance with procedures defined in British Standard BS7984 and all changes to keyholding information are carefully recorded to support a full audit trail. As soon as the Control Room is advised of an alarm activation, a member of the keyholding team is despatched immediately to the customer's premises and on arrival will carry out thorough security checks in an attempt to establish the cause. In the event of a break-in, the keyguard will arrange, where necessary, for the 'boarding-up' of windows and doors after liaising with the police and the alarm company. The property will be left secure at all times and, if necessary, static guarding can be arranged to cover contingencies of a more serious nature. In all circumstances, customers will have the reassurance of knowing that any problem will be dealt with speedily and efficiently.
